Still Taxation Without Representation

The DC Voting Rights Bill was killed in the Senate today, allowing residents to keep their snappish license plates indefinitely. The bill passed the House in April, and would have given the 600,000 people who live in the District a vote in Congress. Critics have decried the bill as unconstitutional, since the District is not a state, and the White House threatened to veto the measure.  read more »
